Grandpa washes my paws whenever we return from our walks. The first time grandpa washed my paws, he thought I had stepped on some nasty black gunk or something during our walk. As he didn't have his old glasses with him (again!), he didn't realize that the 'black gunk' is actually the pigmentation on my paw. You see, my paw pads are pink, but my right paw pad has some dark pigmentation.
My paws are NOT dirty!!
So grandpa thought "Oh what stubborn, nasty gunk you stepped on!", and started to rub and wash my paw so hard that I started to whine! Luckily he stopped after hearing me whine.
It was after sometime that grandpa realized his blunder. The hooomans even had a good laugh over my misfortune! You know, it's too bad the victim wasn'tstinky Barley. He has solid black paw pads.

your grandpa is so cute..hehe.. although i'd hate to be in your shoes..er.. paws, when the scrubbing (and bathing- goodness!) happened cos i have extremely black paws.. hehe..
hope grandpa doesnt have anymore blunder.. umm.. we were just wondering why all of his blunders are with you and not barley?

My mum brushed my paws once thinking that it'll rid me of that itch but she didn't know that I have princess paws (qian jin xiao jie which means i have very delicate skin) -_-"
In the end i got a very huge bump which got infected/inflammed. Had to go for a surgery to remove those yucky pus :I From then onwards mum will remind Jiejie to remind the groomer to be careful with my skin coz I am qian jin xiao jie (she said that, not me) :P

Oh, that is one funny story! My Mommy washes our paws often now coz she hates seeing the house get dirty all the time especially after she has cleaned it(she's a house cleaning freak!) I have a spot on my tongue & once she thought it's something dirty stuck on it so she started scrubbing it but it still never came off. Ouch!
