Waste Not

With the economy recession and all, mum says that we must not waste food, and every little bit counts. So I spent nearly the whole afternoon trying to pick out that piece of food that got stuck between my teeth.

Every little bit counts!

It's quite tiring, but it's definitely worth all the time as I get to eat that extra little bit more *grins*. Don't you agree???

Life is Unfair

Just because stinky Barley is twice my size, he gets to eat double the amount of food! This is unfair, unfair, UNFAIR! I am capable of eating that much too if mum allows but she says I'll get too fat!

Under the bridge

And just because stinky Barley is taller than me, he could stand up and look out of the window easily. He could check out pretty girls dogs walking by downstairs or if mum is coming home.

"Is that you, Cogie??"

Life is unfair!

I think I will go waste myself away in a corner and look VERY SAD, so that mum will give me an extra drumstick in my meal tomorrow.

A Staring Incident

Hello every pup! This is Barley posting today! My big brother Cocoa and I had a staring incident this morning.

"What you looking at?"

"What do you mean?? You can look and I can't??"

This "I-stare-at-you-you-stare-at-me" episode lasted for nearly 5 minutes, and it was all because of..

Lamb Ears!!

Can I eat now? I'm drooling already..

Chomp chomp..

Chomp Chomp Chomp..

Still chomping.. slow Cocoa..

A very happy me.

I had three lamb ears, and Cocoa only had two. Heehehehehe!!!

No More Bitey Ears

All thanks to my little stinky brother Barley, my ears get dirty more often because he likes to play bitey ears and his drool would stick in the insides of my ears. Here's how he does it. Look at his demonic face and a seemingly distorted leg *snigger*.

Playing bitey ears

Very often, mum finds me shaking my head and scratching my ears alot after playing bitey ears. And it was all because of Barley's stinky drool that dried up in my ears *sulks*. So now, mum forbids Barley to play bitey ears with me.. woohoo!

Scratching my itchy ears. Check out my sensuous lips!

Stop whining, will ya?

How does a golden retriever shuts a whiny beagle up? Make a guess.
No idea? Think harder.
Okay here comes the answer.

Yes, it was that humiliating.

Random Pictures

Mum has been engrossed with bones-flesh bounced-flash photography. We don't know what the fuss is all about but here's some random pictures she took with different bounced-flash angles. Sorry if you spot some eye gunk in my pics, I was feeling too bored and sleepy.

Close-up shot of my third eyelid. Eww.

Not too bad eh (besides the eye gunk).

Hear Me Roar!

My big brother Cocoa and I have been practising how to do a ferocious roar. Here's the trick:

1. Open your mouth as big as you can.
2. Close your eyes.
3. Take a deep breath and ROAR with all your might!!!!!!

Now let's see who can roar better. Here's me first:

Do I look ferocious? Hehehe! Next up is Cocoa's turn:

ROAR.....or AAHHH?

Hmmm.. I think he looks more like he's seen a ghost and screaming at it or something.

Kangaroo Treats

Mum went out yesterday and bought this for us!

Toasted Kangaroo Tail

Looks yummy eh?? Can't wait to chew on it!

Stinky Barley decided to play bitey face with me. Guess who's the winner?

Barley 1 - Cocoa 2. Yay!

Begging for Food

Fur Fur Fur

Mum spent almost an hour grooming, combing and raking out Barley's undercoat with the Furminator the other day. Guess what am I smiling at?

Happily watching...

Stinky Barley stranded on the grooming table *snigger*. You can tell that he dislike being up on the table. Look at that ball of fur next to him.

He drools alot and sheds alot too. But it's ok, he's still my brother *sincere*.

'Bit' and Run

Somehow my big brother Cocoa has been blogging that I have been bullying him very often. But that's not all true! In fact he bullies me too and he will always run away after that.

See how he bites my neck? Oh mum taking picture! *Waves to camera*

And he scurries off after that before I can catch him! :-(

Our Home-made Dehydrated Treats

This is Barley posting again. Mum made us yummy dried chicken yesterday using our dehydrator.

Raw chicken meat

Our dehydrator. There were 5 trays of chicken meat.

Dehydrated chicken meat after 8 hours.

Smells like roast chicken! Yummy yummy!!

We were made to pose with treats on our noses!! I'm drooling already!

See how anxious Cocoa was? He's afraid I eat my treat faster than him!
